Key Verse: Romans 8:28 – And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 

1. Has somebody ever said “everything happens for a reason” to you when going through something difficult?  How did that make you feel during that time? 

2.  There is a difference between “All things word together for good” and “In all things, God works for good.”.  Why is this difference so important in how we view God? 

3.  When going through difficulty in life, do you tend to first ask “why” or “what now”?   What is something you can do to “look for the path of obedience” first, in times of trouble? 

4.  Have you ever felt angry or disappointed with God because of something that happened in your life?  How does this message reshape your view of God’s character when going through hard times?
